WAPCOS Limited an ISO 9001:2015 Govt. of India Undertaking requires Experts on Project Term Basis for a Project in Jharkhand. In this regard following Experts are required and place of posting shall be at Jharkhand. Last Date of application is 18th Jan 2023.

He should be at least a graduate Engineer with minimum 20 years of experience in power sector, out of which at least 10 years shall be in design or supervision of transmission line and substation projects. 2. He/she should have at least 5 years’ experience as Team Leader or Project Manager in power transmission line and substation projects. |
| 2 | Substation Design Engineer (1 no.) | 1. He should be at least a graduate Electrical Engineer with minimum 15 years of experience in power sector, out of which at least 10 years shall be in design of grid substations of 132kV or above. 2. Additional weightage shall be given for: a. Experience in design of 400 kV Grid Substations b. Design of GIS sub-stations of 132 kV or higher voltage levels |
| 3 | Transmission Line Design Engineer (1 no.) | 1. He should be at least a graduate Electrical Engineer with minimum 15 years of experience in power sector, out of which at least 10 years shall be in designing of power transmission line projects of 132kV or above. 2. Additional weightage shall be given for: a. Experience in design of 400 kV or higher voltage level transmission lines. |
| 4 | Transmission System SCADA Expert (1 no.) | 1. He should be at least a graduate Engineer with minimum experience in design of SCADA system for at least Two (02) Grid Substations and their integration with the transmission SCADA System. 2. Additional weightage shall be given for: a. Experience in design of transmission SCADA System for 400kV or higher voltage transmission systems |
| 5 | Project Manager (2 nos.) | 1. The Project Manager should be at least a graduate Electrical Engineer with minimum 12 years of experience in construction/supervision of Power Transmission Line & Sub Station projects, out of which at least 3 years’ experience should be as Team Leader or Project Manager. 2. The age of Project Manager shall not be more than 50 Years as on 31.12.2022. 3. Additional weightage would be given for: a. Experience of power transmission project implementation as an employer to the contract or as part of contractor’s team. b. Experience of 2 or more than 2 projects. |
| 6 | Site Engineer (Electrical) (6 nos.) | 1. They should be a graduate electrical engineer having at least 7 years in implementing /supervising construction of Power Transmission lines or Substations (above 132 kV). 2. The age of Site Engineer shall not be more than 40 Years as on 31.12.2022. 3. He must have experience in implementing/ supervising construction of Power Transmission Substations |
| 7 | Site Engineer (Civil) (6 nos.) | 1. The Site Engineer Civil should be a graduate civil engineer having at least 5 years of experience in supervising civil works related to Power Transmission lines and Sub-stations (above 132 kV). 2. The age of Site Engineer shall not be more than 40 Years as on 31.12.2022. 3. He must have experience in implementing/supervising construction of Power Transmission Substations. |
| 8 | Inspection Engineer (4 nos.) | 1. The Inspection Engineer should be a graduate in engineering with experience in manufacturing/inspection/quality control of EHV equipment. 2. The Inspection Engineer shall have minimum 10 years of relevant work experience in power sector out of which at least 5 years’ experience shall be in inspection of equipment for substation & Transmission Lines (above 132 kV). |
| 9 | Social Safeguard Expert (2 nos.) | 1. The Social Safeguard Expert should have a relevant degree with minimum 15 years of work experience. 2. He/she should have experience of more than 7 years of preparing SIA reports and RAPs for infrastructure projects. 3. Additional weightage would be given for: a. Experience of preparing RAPs for projects funded by multi-lateral/bi-lateral financial institutions b. Experience of dealing with land acquisition after preparation of RAPs. |
| 10 | Environment Expert (2 nos.) | 1. The Environment Expert should have a relevant degree with minimum 15 years of work experience, out of which at least 7 years should be in carrying out environment impact assessments of linear infrastructure projects. 2. The expert should have experience of preparation of forest clearance proposals for linear infrastructure projects. 3. Additional weightage would be given to: a. Experience in preparation of forest clearance proposals for 2 or more infrastructure projects. b. Former employees of forest departments of central or state government. |
| 11 | Safety Engineer (2 nos.) | The Safety Engineer should have a relevant degree with minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years at EHV (above132kV) equipment installation sites |
| 12 | Technical Assistant (6 Nos.) | The technical associates (Electrical/Civil) should have relevant Educational qualification (not less than diploma in engineering) having at least 7 years of experience, of which at least 3 years in implementation/supervision of Power Transmission lines or Sub-stations (above 132 kV). |
| 13 | Environment and Social Safeguard Associates (6 nos.) | The environment and social associates must have relevant educational qualifications and have at least 7 years of experience, of which a least 5 years in carrying out environment and social impact assessments and obtaining forest and other clearances etc. for infrastructure projects. |
Salary:
Salary shall be negotiable, commensurate to qualification and experience at the time of selection.
