About iCALL and Youth Mental Health Fellowship:
iCALL is a pioneering and empowering technology-assisted mental health and psychosocial well-being initiative of the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS). iCALL was initiated in 2012 to bridge the vast mental health care gap in India. CALL invites applications for the PAN India youth mental health fellowship for the year 2022-23. The fellowship aims to initiate youthled research centring young individuals in the endeavors of knowledge creation about their mental health.

Qualification for iCALL Youth Mental Health Fellowship 2022-23:
Bachelor’s degree from a UGC-recognized university in one of the following academic disciplines:
- Psychology
- Social work
- Health
- Education
- Law
- Or any other relevant field
Individuals having at least two years of experience in mental health research and academic writing with demonstrable work
Selection Criteria for the Research Proposal:
- Clear and innovative research idea
- Well-structured proposal with detailed-out methodology
- Ability to demonstrate central involvement of young individuals in the research process
- Significant implications for youth mental health knowledge creation, policy, practice and program
Fellowship Period:
8 (Eight) Months
What you will get in Youth Mental Health Fellowship:
- A certificate from iCALL, TISS upon completion of the fellowship tasks
- Fixed stipend to aid the research process
- An opportunity to write a report based on the research work

Details of the Application process:
As part of the application process, the candidates will be required to submit the following:
- Details of their relevant academic and work background
- Details of relevant research experience and work in the area of youth mental health and current networks with young individuals
- A research proposal focusing on an innovative idea in the field of youth mental health (Guidelines for the research proposal)
- Two recommendation letters from past or current faculty, employee supervisor, manager or senior from the field
