About Sangath:
Sangath is one of India’s leading mental health research non-profit organization. Sangath’s mission and expertise lies in developing and evaluating mental health interventions to be delivered through existing public systems. Sangath’s working areas are: Child development and disability; adolescent health; mental disorders; and ageing. Sangath is seeking to recruit a Research Associates for NAMASTE.
Post Name and No. of Post:
Research Associate (Total 4 -New Delhi-2, Goa-2)
Qualification:
Postgraduate degree in Psychology Masters in Psychology/Social work/ Public health or other health-related field and minimum experience of 2 years of working in research programme.
Desirable:
- Experience and knowledge in mental health research
- Willingness to travel field sites within country.
- Knowledge of data analysis software viz., SPSS, STATA, Nvivo, etc.
Remuneration:
5 – 5.5 lakh per annum (All staff benefits including EPF, health insurance and gratuity will be additional as per organizational policy)
Location:
New Delhi and Goa, India
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Support the Programme Coordinator in designing the data collection tools and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Support the translation and documentation of evaluation measures and any other programme documents into Hindi or Konkani (from English).
- Draft programme activity reports as per the protocol under supervision.
- Get trained in evaluation measures to be administered.
- Administer clinical assessment tools.
- Ensure day-to-day data entry of the collected data.
- Follow and ensure confidentiality of data and ensure secure and timely data transfer to Data manager.
- Ensure smooth functioning of all programme activities including data collection and analysis at the site(s).
- Support the implementation of formative phase and definitive phase Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) activities in the programme.
- Participate in joint programme activities including meetings, academic activities with the programme team.
- Report to Programme Coordinator and provide as well as receive regular feedback on all activities.
- Have regular coordination and communication with Programme Coordinator and the other team leads and all team members of the programme.
- Any other programme related duties as assigned by senior programme management team
