About Organisation: The Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure (CDRI) is a multi-stakeholder global partnership of national governments, UN agencies & programmes, multilateral development banks & financing mechanisms, the private sector, and academic & research institutions. It aims to address the challenges of building resilience into infrastructure systems and infrastructural development. The vision, mission, goal, and objectives of the CDRI are explicitly linked to the post-2015 development agendas. The Coalition will also contribute to the resilience of global infrastructure systems in an increasingly interconnected world. The outcome of such collaboration would be aimed at building ‘resilient economies and resilient people’ through cross-sector commitments at all levels towards adaptation and resilience with concrete outcomes that will bring resilience action to a global scale.

About Job: Young Professionals for CDRI Young Professionals Programme

Post Name: Young Professional

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in planning, architecture, development studies, engineering, urban planning, sustainable development, infrastructure, or any other relevant field with minimum 70% marks/7 CGPA/equivalent and minimum 4 years of work experience in an area related to CDRI’s mandate
OR
Master’s Degree in disaster management, climate change, development studies, engineering, urban planning, sustainable development, infrastructure, architecture, or any other relevant field with minimum 70% marks/7 CGPA/equivalent and minimum 2 years of work experience in an area related to
CDRI’s mandate
OR
Post-doctoral Degree in disaster management, climate change, development studies, engineering, urban planning, sustainable development, nfrastructure, architecture with minimum 1 year of work experience in an area related to CDRI’s mandate.

Job Responsibilities: Under the supervision of their mentors, the YPs will be expected to provide high-quality inputs in CDRI’s projects and programmes related to disaster management, climate change, development studies, engineering, urban planning, sustainable development, infrastructure, and policy research.

The YPs will be expected to contribute to the Coalition’s research and knowledge management offerings including undertaking landscape analysis and scoping studies, collating and disseminating insights from CDRI’s programmatic activities in the form of knowledge products such as case studies,
learning notes and technical notes and research publications etc. The YPs will be given additional responsibilities and duties as per the requirements of CDRI.

Locations:  Salary  INR 60,000 per month + 10% Transportation allowance + 10% Housing allowance (Up to 10 % increment in subsequent
year) 

Age Limit: 30 years as on 1 January 2022
