About Job: Avanti runs the largest system-wide interventions for Math and Science learning in government schools in India. Avanti uses the power of blended-learning, technology, and peer-instruction to create programs that are able to deliver consistent outcomes in low-resource settings. Our work spans nine Indian states impacting over 8 lakh students through large system-wide interventions in Haryana and the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya School. Avanti are hiring Curriculum Associate Science ( Hindi Medium) on an immediate basis. This role involves making grade 9 & 10 Science content for Haryana Govt school students.

Qualification Requirements:
- Well versed in at least one of Physics, Chemistry, Biology till 10th standard
- Hindi medium education background till 10th standard is mandatory
- Good knowledge of Hindi Terminology till 10th standard along with good hand-writing
- Excellent Translation (from English to hindi) and communication skills.
- Good confidence while teaching or explaining the concepts in class (both live classes & physical classrooms)
- Comfortable with handling computers, laptops & other tech equipment required for conducting live classes
- Ability to connect with, inspire and motivate students and Passion for working in education
- Excellent critical thinking skills, including the ability to link cause and effect and generate solutions to problems
Responsibilities:
- Design, creation, curation of at-grade and below-grade video content relevant to the target audience of Project Sankalp in Haryana & other projects
- Creation of at-grade and below-grade quizzes, worksheets and workbooks for various parts of our intervention across Project Sankalp & other projects
- Creation of Modules with solutions, Test papers with solutions, short-notes in Hindi medium.
- Creation of Lesson Plans for the implementation of the Curriculum across various projects
- Participate in various R&D activities involving standardised Curriculum mapping and creation of curriculum relevant to relevant standards
- Ensure zero error-rate and timely creation of all content.
- Document and analyze student data gathered from classrooms and use it to judge efficacy of teaching practices
- Collaborate with Avanti’s technology team to design and test features for Avanti’s e-learning platforms
Location: Anywhere in India
Compensation: INR 4,00,000- 6,00,000 per annum
