About UGC NET 2024:
The National Testing Agency (NTA) and University Grants Commission (UGC) is conducting UGC-NET, which is a Test to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for ‘Assistant Professor’ as well as ‘Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor’ in Indian Universities and Colleges. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their application by visiting the official website. Last date of online application is 10 may 2024.

Eligibility for UGC NET 2024:
- General/Unreserved/General-EWS: Master Degree with 55% marks
- OBC-NCL/SC / ST / PwD / Third gender category: Master Degree with 50% marks
- Candidates who are pursuing their Master’s degree or equivalent course or candidates who have appeared for their qualifying Master’s degree (final year) examination and whose result is still awaited or candidates whose qualifying examinations have been delayed may also apply for this test.
Age Limit for UGC NET 2024:
(i) JRF: Not more than 30 years as on 01st day of the month in which the examination is concluded i.e. 01.06.2024.
(ii) Assistant Professor: There is no upper age limit in applying for UGC-NET for Assistant Professor.
(iii) Admission to PhD: There is no upper age limit in applying for UGC-NET for Admission to PhD.
UGC NET 2024 Application Fee:
- General/Unreserved: Rs. 1150/-
- Gen-EWS/ OBC-NCL: Rs. 600/-
- Scheduled Caste (SC) / Scheduled Tribes (ST) / Person with Disability (PwD) and Third gender: Rs. 325/-

- Submission of Online Application Form: 20th April 2024 to 10th May 2024 (upto 11:50 P.M)
- Last date for submission of Examination fee: 11th May 2024 to 12th May 2024 (upto 11:50 P.M)
- Correction in the Particulars in Online Application Form 13th May 2024 to 15th May 2024 (upto 11:50 P.M)
- Announcement of City of Exam Centre: To be Intimated Later
- Downloading of Admit Card from NTA Website: To be Intimated Later
