The Union Public Service Commission is a constitutional body of India that conducts direct recruitment of officers to the All India Services and the Central Civil Services through examinations and appoints officers in various Services under the Government of India. Preliminary Examination of the Civil Services Examination for recruitment to the Services and Posts mentioned below will be held by the Union Public Service Commission on 26th May, 2024. The Online Applications can be filled up to 05.03.2024 till 6:00 P.M. after which the link will be disabled.

Age Limit for UPSC Civil Services IAS/IFS Recruitment 2024:
A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 32 years on the 1st of August, 2024 i.e. Age Relaxation as per UPSC Recruitment Rules.

Plan of Examination:
The Civil Services Examination comprises two successive stages:
(i) Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination (Objective Type) for the selection of candidates for Civil Services (Main) Examination; and
(ii) Civil Services (Main) Examination (Written and Interview/Personality Test) for the selection of candidates for the various Services and posts.
